Talking about mushrooms (I was, wasn’t I?), something that seems to pop up like mushrooms all around the landscape here is castles. They’re everywhere. I particularly liked this one, Kašperk, which at almost 900m, is the highest castle in Bohemia. The dynamic duo loved Lake Lipno so much they went there again today. This time they parked just outside Frymburk, a pretty little town which, like Horní Planá, is directly on the lake, and they hopped on the bikes there. After a foggy night and a rather damp morning, the weather finally started to brighten up considerably today. His Lordship gleefully announced that the campsite owner had promised ‘tropical temperatures’ from now on.
